Bristell B23 South Africa

Bristell B23 – Fully Certified

The BRISTELL B23 is a modern, low-wing airplane and designed in accordance with the European CS23/U.S. FAR 23 Certification. It has a maximum take-off weight of 750kg, a 300kg of useful load and a a 120l fuel tank capacity.

While the B23 looks like the CLASSIC B.LSA, there is in fact more to the design. The BRISTELL Manufacturing company based in Kunovice, Chez Republic says it “listened to the feedback of many happy B-owners worldwide” before designing the new aircraft.

  • The fuselage is longer
  • The tail is larger, with an aluminium rudder
  • The flaps & stabiliser are bigger and more efficient
  • The composite main landing gear legs have been redesigned to carry much heavier loads
  • Improved aircraft’s handling characteristics
  • Trim tab function on the twin elevator to assist pilot to optimise the forces on the control stick
  • Basic equipment includes a steerable nose wheel and a BRS ballistic parachute rescue system
  • The standard-equipped aircraft also meets the night-VHR requirements and can be upgraded to meet IFR requirements
